    This role entails informing mine operators of violations, ensuring compliance, enforcing surface mining laws, and educating mine officials and operators on regulations.     Work Schedule and Additional Information:
    • Full-time employment
    • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
    • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Ebensburg.
    • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
    • One year of experience as an Environmental Protection Trainee in the surface mining program; or
    • Three years of progressively responsible surface mining and conservation experience; or
    • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

    Other Requirements:
    • This particular position requires possession of a valid PA non - commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
