Grains of Montana Bakery is a wholesale manufacturing bakery company that seeks a full-time Mixer. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. WE WILL TRAIN YOU. This position reports to the Head Mixer and the Production Manager. The Mixer is responsible for scaling ingredients and mixing doughs. We seek a motivated individual who can work clean, is organized, neat and a quick thinking multitasker that takes great pride in the work they do.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Ensure items are scaled accurately
-Be well organized
-Learn to read dough temperatures and dough development
-Keep work area, tools and supplies clean, organized and sanitary throughout the shift
-Follow all GMP's and Safety Procedures
-Perform other duties as requested by Production Manager
-Flexible on work schedule
Qualifications and Skills
-High School diploma or equivalent work experience
-Reading, writing and basic math skills
-The mixing area and tools will be maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
-Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
-Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, talk, hear, lift and perform repetitive motions
-Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds waist high
-Must be capable of lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
-Ability to operate a pallet jack
-Ability to work well with entire baking team
-Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction
-Have strong communication skills; written and verbal
