SUMMARY

Designs, builds, and supports solutions to optimize the automation of business processes to facilitate both administrative and academic functions at the College. Responsible for obtaining solution requirements, developing testing plans and documentation, participating in project review, and leveraging new technologies to enhance the student, faculty, and staff experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Partners closely with end-users to obtain solution requirements
  
• Partners with senior Application Developer’s to work with end-users at the College
  
• Works with drag and drop visual entity builders
  
• Develops functional prototypes to provide solutions that meet user needs
  
• Familiarity with UX/UI design
  
• Develops testing plans and actively participates in project reviews
  
• Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
  
• Responds to, investigates, and resolves issues reported by end-users
  
• Develops and maintains documentation, including troubleshooting guides and user guides
  
• Updates the associated application architecture diagrams as environmental changes are made
  
• Maintains and upgrades custom solutions as necessary, especially to address security issues and browser incompatibility; cross-trains team members to ensure support continuity
  
• Performs other duties as assigned
