Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Mobile Applications Architect with strong experience in creating Architecture design and Low Level design for mobile applications (iOS and Android)

 Location: , Irving, Texas or Miami, Florida - Resources will have to work out of the Verizon office for at least 2 days a week

  You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

 Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in creating Architecture design and Low-Level design for mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Strong experience in working with native apps as well as web views.
• Must have - Experience in mobile first implementation, WebView implementation and leading the design on how native apps pages and web view pages will work in tandem.
• Creating best in class solution and architecture that offers excellent user experience and enhanced application performance.
• Expert level proficiency in development & architecture design on below Tech stack:

• IOS Development - Apple Xcode/Objective-C and/or Swift.   
• Android development -Kotlin, Rx Java 2, Rx Android JS, Dagger framework
• React JS, React Native Development

• Experience in improving the UX journey and recommending process/design improvements.
• Review project approach framework and designs with engineering staff and Product team, analyze the feasibility on the approach, and identify potential risks/issues.
• Work and Coordinate with Product and Partners to create Level of Effort (LoE) estimates for all projects.
• Work with Product manager and UX team to assist and drive the “best in class”, intuitive, engaging and simple customer interaction for Mobile.
• Work with Product team to drive customer journey for mobile.
• Participate in UX research and usability.
