The Sr. Applications Scientist for Flow Cytometry is responsible for supporting commercialization of on-market products and new product launches. You will be a part of the Flow Cytometry Business Unit Applications team working in the lab and partnering with key customers to generate data in support of commercialization strategies.
The ideal candidate will be based in Miami, FL, as an in-house Applications Scientist. The position works closely with the Product Management team and extended flow cytometry marketing organization to ensure quality scientific data is generated using our product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Ability to design and execute experiments independently internally and with external collaborators in academia and industry, as appropriate.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Conduct product workshops and training for customers and internal staff.
Interact with cross-functional teams at multiple locations.
The ability to work in a regulated environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
The required qualifications for the job include:
A minimum of a BS/BA degree in Biology or related field with 10 years of experience or MS degree with 8 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 5 years of experience.
Extensive experience with high-complexity flow cytometry assay development and data analysis.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Spectral flow cytometry
Supporting commercialization of analytical hardware products through marketing and/or product development roles is highly desired.
