    We have a contract opportunity for a mRNA Molecular Biologist in Waltham Massachusetts. This position is initially approved for 1 year and could be extended.

    Pay Rate:$40 to $45/Hr.

    Shift: 8AM to 5PM (Monday to Friday)

    Job Description:

    • Primary responsibilities would include molecular cloning, small-scale RNA production and purification. The ideal candidate will work closely with molecular biologists, RNA biologists, process engineers and chemists to support the development of self-amplifying mRNA (sa-mRNA) platform technology and process.

    Required Qualifications:
    • B.S./MS degree in molecular biology or related field with 0-3 years of industry experience.
    • Hands on experience with molecular biology techniques, for example electrophoresis, enzymatic reactions, in vitro transcription, nucleic acid purifications

    Preferred Qualifications but not necessary:
    • Experienced in mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays and Florescence/Luminescence-based readouts is a plus.
    • Experience in developing, validating, optimization and deploying Cell and Molecular Biology based methods is a plus.
