    Position Summary:
     Responsible for 24 hours observation, interpretation, and documentation for inpatient adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients on the cardiac monitored nursing units (except 6A-ICU, 6R-ICU, RICN, Obstetrics). Communicates the appropriate rhythm trending reports to the designated nursing units/nurses. Practices in accordance with organizational policies.

     


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Minimum Education
    High school graduate or equivalent.
    Graduate of an Allied Health Program, or Bachelor’s of Medicine in which the curriculum included education and/or experience in rhythm interpretation, or graduate of a Nursing Program.
         
    Required License or Certification:
    Current certification as Cardiovascular Technician, Certified Surgical Technologist, Paramedic Certificate, current PA LPN license, or RN license.
    Other:
    Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course or successful completion within 60 days of hire.
