We are seeking a Mortgage Business Development Manager to assist with the expansion of our Mortgage Partner. Our perfect candidate will market primarily to Realtor and Builder partners on behalf of our Branch Manager and cultivate referral relationships.
Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for any questions regarding the partnership.
Establish and maintain relationships with realtors and builders by thanking agents for referrals, send Thank You notes on behalf of the Mortgage Loan Officer, set up and attend functions on behalf of the LO's, lunches, workshops, networking events, etc.
Create opportunities for the Mortgage Loan Officers to meet with Realtors and other strategic referral partners through events, coffee appointments, lunches, and networking events.
Manage marketing campaigns in company’s CRM for Mortgage Loan Officer to Realtor partners, help set up a plan for LO's to connect with each partner.
Spend at least 75% of time each week networking.
No responsibility to ever take a Mortgage Loan application, collect documents, issue pre-approvals, etc
Daily phone calls primarily to realtors as well as other strategic referral sources (attorneys, settlement agents, financial planners, etc.)
Face-to-face meetings with referral partners.
Attend Sales Calls.
Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast).
Regularly meet with the marketing manager for new marketing and engagement strategies.
Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
Qualifications
5-7 years proven experience as Mortgage Business Development Manager
Established book of business.
Strong organizational and follow up skills.
Ability to work commission only
Experience working with little to no supervision.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
