Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor supervises a team of loan processors to ensure that new mortgage loan packages are processed and completed according to established policies and procedures. Ensures operations are efficient and effective. Being a Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor evaluates files for accuracy, completion, and compliance with governmental regulations. Trains and supports a team of processors on current and new procedures. Additionally, Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor may prepare loans for underwriting. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.     Duties and Responsibilities for the Residential Mortgage Loan Originator include:

    Referral Based RMLO:
    Establish relationships with Realtors and other centers of influence to attract business
    Meet with customers, identify their needs and take residential loan applications
    Provide all compliance disclosures required at time of application
    Monitor the processing of customer’s loans through the closing process

    Requirements for the Residential Mortgage Loan Originator:
    1-3 years’ experience as a licensed Loan Officer
    Active Texas Residential Mortgage Loan Officer License
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Calyx Point, email and web research
    Able to work independently and possess excellent time management skills
