Mortgage Loan Processor performs administrative tasks for mortgage loan processing. Collects and prepares necessary information such as loan applications, credit documents, and appraisals to process and complete mortgage loan files. Being a Mortgage Loan Processor verifies all documentation for accuracy and completeness. Tracks and monitors due dates. Additionally, Mortgage Loan Processor ensures all documents are prepared and finalized in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. Inputs and maintains all required transaction and processing records according to procedures. Responds to inquiries. Prepares required regulatory reporting. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Mortgage Loan Processor works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. This Position:
This position performs administrative duties for the processing of residential loan applications in accordance with HFCU and investor policies and guidelines. The Mortgage Loan Processor I is committed to building relationships with borrowers, team members and vendors and works collaboratively with all parties to originate and process loans from application through scheduling the closing. They will successfully communicate the credit union difference, the mortgage process, and set realistic expectations for members and all interested parties throughout the process. While experience in these tasks is ideal, the right candidate can be trained in all aspects of this role.
Starting Salary: $17.80-18.45/hour

We're looking for individuals who are comfortable with administrative duties. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are ideal qualities to thrive in this role.
Full-Time Schedule, 40 Hours Per Week Monday-Friday, with the possibility for overtime. Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. This position has the potential to work a hybrid schedule after an initial training period. Due to the requirements of this position, the initial training period may last anywhere from six (6) to eighteen (18) months. Hybrid schedule must be approved and is granted on a case by case basis.

This position requires working primarily at a workstation or desk in an open office environment. Daily tasks include extensive use of a computer performing standard keyboard functions, requiring repeated motion. Stretching breaks are recommended to avoid injury. Some light lifting required.
