    Position Overview: 
    Loan Servicing Specialist will work directly with the Post Closing Team.  We are looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist who will be responsible for performing general loan servicing duties. Prepare consumer and commercial loan documentation, process adjustments to loan files and related data in core processing system, maintain accurate records with accuracy and completion. 
     
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:  
    • Review and originate automated loan payment transfers, process payments and handle general inquiries.
    • Review file change requests for accuracy and policy compliance prior to inputting into core processing system.
    • Verify the Bank's core processing system accurately reflects the terms and conditions of all loan onboarding documents while ensuring adherence to Bank policy.
    • Onboard and review loan transactions while maintaining accurate coding, alignment with loan contracts, and balanced transactions.
    • Prepare and distribute daily loan reports, notices, and database information to various team members.
    • Complete various account and process reconciliation functions, both daily and monthly.
    • Review loan activity and respond to credit inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.
    • Assist with escrow account analysis, disbursement, balancing, and posting function.
    • Complete necessary research and provide professional responses to both internal and external customer inquiries.
    • Prepare loan documents for commercial and consumer loans, ensuring that all necessary documentation has been collected, approvals have been granted, and all standard compliance requirements have been fulfilled.
    • Participate in process improvement discussions to identify efficiencies in workflow and improve quality.
    Experience & Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
    • 4 years’ experience in loan servicing.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent documentation and process mapping skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt to change.
    • Strong team player with a high level of professionalism and initiative.
    • Non-QM, DSCR, RTL experience preferred.
