Mortgage Loan Servicing Clerk, Sr. jobs in Waterloo, IA

Position Summary:

Provides support to the lending department through boarding and maintenance of loans, quality control reviews and account reconciliation on the bank’s core data system and general ledgers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews and reconciles daily reports as assigned from bank’s core data system.
• Processes loan fees, applies loan payments, manages escrow payments, and maintains participation loans.
• Serves as a resource on all loan transactions for others in the bank.
• Assist in servicing secondary market loans.
• Boards loans and performs maintenance on core system.
• Follows state and federal banking regulations.
• Represents Lincoln Savings Bank in a positive light in all professional duties. Including participating in civic, community, and networking events to cultivate productive relationships for Lincoln Savings Bank.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as defined by Management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with core system transactions preferred
• Experience in mortgage servicing helpful
• Experience in consumer servicing
• Knowledge of lending, payments, escrow accounts
• Knowledge of general accounting practices
• Attention to detail
• Excellence in meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
