Mortgage Operations Manager oversees all mortgage lending operations, including verifying property appraisals, marketing loan products, and loan processing. Manages resources to ensure quality mortgage loan service and efficient delivery of products and services to clients. Being a Mortgage Operations Manager monitors the productivity and budgetary performance of the operations department and develops new procedures to improve processes. Acts as a resource for knowledge on mortgage lending operations and trains and educates personnel on new or changing regulations or procedures. Additionally, Mortgage Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Mortgage Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     How You’ll Make an Impact

    The purpose of this position is to grow the Valvoline business by analyzing, calling on, and servicing the Retail, Commercial and Ecommerce touchpoints across a DIY strategic account for the Valvoline family of products. While having direct sales and analyst responsibility for a single top customer, this position might also require limited support for other retail accounts. This position will have extensive knowledge of each channel of trade and will create and execute a selling platform, provide critical insights, and lead account specific systems that deliver strategic growth for the Valvoline Company.  Relationship building with the key accounts is critical to the success of this role. 

    • Analyze Key Retail account business delivering impactful reporting and insights to support management and optimization of the business. Manage Business Scorecards, including insights on the Retail business to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Analyze point of sale, inventory and promotion performance and make recommendations for promotion changes and forecasts. Collaborate with Supply Chain on POS and Shipments forecasts.  Lead channel and acct Financial monthly business reviews provide volume forecasts, pricing, and margin analysis. Manage Trade Pro and Alloy reporting systems.
    • In collaboration with Valvoline planning and analysis, develop annual account plans. Review sales, volume/share, and profit at least monthly, to monitor progress and manage P&L to deliver sales and profit objectives. Lead accrual management process recommending adjustments as needed.
    • Lead initiatives for a segment of the business, to attain growth targets outlined in the Valvoline Strategic plan. Position will work with Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Sr. Sales Staff to develop strategic and effective selling platforms including price, trade programs, promotions, shipping programs, and marketing support.
    • Deliver outstanding customer service and responsiveness and from time to time, advancing strategic initiatives across the account with Face-to-face meetings/travel to customer locations and other venues as required to be successful at the above objectives.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What You’ll Need

    • BS or BA Degree Required.
    • Minimum 5 years of sales, marketing and/or industry experience.

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    • Relevant industry/consumer goods / retail / promotions experience and analytical strength using Microsoft Excel is preferred.

    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. 
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
