Mortgage Operations Manager oversees all mortgage lending operations, including verifying property appraisals, marketing loan products, and loan processing. Manages resources to ensure quality mortgage loan service and efficient delivery of products and services to clients. Being a Mortgage Operations Manager monitors the productivity and budgetary performance of the operations department and develops new procedures to improve processes. Acts as a resource for knowledge on mortgage lending operations and trains and educates personnel on new or changing regulations or procedures. Additionally, Mortgage Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Mortgage Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. WHAT YOU’LL DO- Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process; coordinate employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
- Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines
- Serve as the “on-call” contact outside of normal business hours for movers remaining out in the field
- Complete performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution process
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Driver’s license with good driving record
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 100 lbs. or more
- Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Work Week - 7:00am – 4:30pm Tuesday – Friday; 7:00am – 11:30am Saturday
Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards, however, occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds may be necessary. Local travel in a company vehicle may be required.
