Position Description

• Administers the quality system in accordance with customer, company, and ISO 9001 requirements; manages the ISO 9001 certification process
• Administers safety and environmental program of Durant location; organizes, promotes, develops, and enforces safety and environmental requirements based on current regulations
• Involved in all aspects of QA/QC activities as outlined in QMS system for Durant facility
• Supervises Quality Assurance inspectors
• Resolves any quality or EHS issues in facility and do work assigned by Quality Director
• Works in a team environment, be quality conscious, and strive for continuous quality improvement

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; or combination of education and experience
• 5-10 years' of related experience
• 3 years' of supervisory experience
• Demonstrable experience in quality assurance and testing principles, theories, techniques, methodologies, and tools
• Demonstrable experience in optimizing quality assurance and testing efficiency while improving proficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction

Preferred Requirements

• OSHA 30 Hour certification
• Quality Technician Certification (CQT)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma - Black Belt or Green Belt
