Silver Screen VII & TriCity Theatre cinemas provide Southeastern Ohio and the surrounding area with first-run movie entertainment. This position could have shifts at both theatres, but would primarily be at Silver Screen VII in Gallipolis, OH.
Theater Manager/Projectionist
A Theater Manager/Projectionist is a full-time hourly employee who leads, monitors, and supervises a group of employees and creates a safe and friendly environment for guests. Supervise and coordinate operations of the theatre to achieve the goals of management.
Theater Manager/Projectionist Responsibilities:
· Manage the day-to-day activities of the theater and the team’s essential functions.
· Spend time working in all theatre job functions.
· Oversee and motivate a properly staffed team.
· Assist with training, guiding, and developing team members.
· Listen, communicate, and work effectively with team, guests, vendors, and partners in high-volume, fast-paced setting.
· Perform daily, opening, and closing operational and administrative duties.
· Meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
· Ensure compliance with company programs and policies.
· Assign registers, distribute drawer monies, supply change.
· Handle cash accurately and possess good math skills.
· Oversee and complete theatre administrative reports.
· Prepare and operate booth software and projection equipment.
· Inspect and maintain projection, theater, and concession equipment.
· Participate in inventory processes and inspection of building and equipment.
· Ensure that associates satisfy guest service standards.
· Resolve guest questions, concerns, and issues.
· Perform other duties as directed by management.
Theater Manager Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent preferred
· Experience working with audio visual equipment preferred
· Experience in leadership position in guest-focused business preferred
· Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities
· Computer literate
· Strong organizational skills
· Self-motivated to lead and excel
· High regard for safety, security, and working with others
· Must be able to stand, walk, lift (sometimes up to 50 lbs), twist, and bend on a frequent basis
