Motion Picture Projectionist sets-up, operates, and maintains media equipment including video, film, slides, audio, motion pictures, slide projectors, and computer equipment. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent. Being a Motion Picture Projectionist may be required to be certified in an area of specialty. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Motion Picture Projectionist is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Job Title: Telecom Central Office Technician
Location: 400 S Gillette Ave. Gillette, WY 82716
Training Provided to gain experience in the growing Telecom industry!
Frame Attendants / Central Office Technicians will support subscriber line switch grooming of a legacy Class 5 voice switch at a telephone central office. Frame Attendants will work on COSMIC or Conventional Main Distribution Frame (MDF) to remove unassigned jumpers or DIPs (Dedicated Inside Plant), and also install new jumpers in support of line cutovers from old OE (Office Equipment) to new OE.
Duration: 2-3 Months
Required Skills & Experience- Training will be provided. Ideal transferrable skills experience includes any wiring, cabling, circuits, or electrical work.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, work on floor-level wiring, and work from a stepping stool and ladder to reach wiring above head level.
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to open and manipulate Excel spreadsheets, and to input daily progress onto Excel spreadsheets residing on technician's personal device (phone, tablet, computer, etc.).
- Preferred experienced in a Telecommunications Central as a Technician and / or with MDF (Distribution Frame) or Cosmic frame wiring, and the use of wire stripper, wire wrap and punch down tools, analog tone/probe tester, and analog telephone handset (butt set).
