As an MRI Technologist, you are responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality MR studies, including radiologists as necessary. Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique and may require remote MR Technologists Assistant oversite. Produces high quality diagnostic images. Operation of multiple MR systems may be required. Order Supplies, clean units, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis. Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, on site and/or remote. ARMRIT certification accepted as allowable by customer contract. If Akumin is billing Medicare, registry in Magnetic Resonance is Required.) 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR currently enrolled for more than 6 months in an accredited MRI training program.)
