Job Summary and Qualifications

• Provide professional therapeutic services to behavioral health patients on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Research Psychiatric Center.
• Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care
• Work collaboratively with members of the health care team, maintains a safe environment, and provides patient and family education
• Inpatient Social Worker LPC are responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital
• Demonstrate competency to provide age appropriate care to adolescent patients (12-18 years of age), adult patients (18 and older, including geriatric patients age 55 years ).

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited university
• Must have LCSW License

Knowledge/Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications:

• Current Clinical Missouri Licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) OR licensed at the master’s level under clinical supervision (PLCP or LMSW)
• BLS and CPI Certification within 90 days of employment
• This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)

Research Psychiatric Center is a 95 bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare.
