    Job Description Summary:
    The School of Nursing is looking for a student worker for the upcoming Fall 2023 semester to provide part-time research and administrative support on a funded project to understand health services use in older adult women who have a history of incarceration.

    Job Description:
    Key Responsibilities and Duties:
    Literature search and literature review support.
    Assisting in preparation and editing of study documents and materials, including protocol and IRB. Responding to email inquiries about focus group participation and screening potential participants for eligibility
    Attending and taking notes in focus groups.
    Helping to manage materials and files.
    Scheduling and attending study team meetings.

    Qualifications

    Required

    Must be CITI Program (Social and Behavioral Research; Responsible Conduct) trained or willing to complete training immediately.
    Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
    Strong-to-excellent editorial and writing skills.
    Good eye for detail and organized work habits.
    Maturity, reliability, and discretion.

    Preferred

    Experience searching and synthesizing scientific literature.
    Experience working with populations that have experienced marginalization due to social or economic marginalization, including racism and stigma related to criminal-legal system involvement.
