Robert Half is looking for a NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE for a permanent direct hire full time position. The position is ONSITE IN AMES IA. What does this position do?! You will assist in managing multi-site networks with your knowledge and exposure in any and all of the following: routers, switches, hubs, installing, configuring, cabling firewalls, anti-virus, monitoring, trouble shooting, other

In this NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE position you will join an organization of about 500 employees with an IT department of about 5 and make a difference. Requirements:

• 5 years of IT support positions including: hardware, software, desktop, break-fix, servers, networks, security
• Some experience in network: routing, switching, firewalls, CP/IP, VLAN, WLAN, WAN, and other a big plus
• Must have excellent customer service and trouble-shooting skills

Requirements

- Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations

- 5 years of relevant experience

- Exceptional skills in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics

- Solid understanding of Firewall

- Knowledge of routers

- Strong familiarity with switches

- Understanding of production environments and being on-call
