Network Control Technician monitors performance and performs maintenance processes to ensure network systems operate at required levels of speed and reliability. Identifies and troubleshoots network issues and follows procedures to resolve problems. Being a Network Control Technician documents network issues and configuration changes as soon as they occur. May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Additionally, Network Control Technician follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Technician work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. We are looking for a service technician to provide pest control services in the King County area. This is an hourly position with a starting pay between $19 and $23 per hour. The position is eligible for overtime, but it is not mandatory. The position also provides sales commissions and pre scheduled, qualified, and secured sales appointments. No cold calling or door knocking required. First year earning potential for someone with no experience is $50,000 . We also provide rewards throughout the application process and a bonus for achieving your license and another bonus when you complete your training.
Typical hours are from 8am to 5pm with an option of a Monday through Friday, or Tuesday through Saturday schedule. We do not work on Sundays.
Our technician’s clock in upon arriving at their first appointment and clock out upon arriving home, and you will be able to take your work truck home every day. Full pay while clocked in whether driving, servicing a home, studying for your license, attending a meeting, or while you are being trained. Once a week you will report to our main office in Puyallup.
What does a pest control technician do?? You will be trained to:
· Talk with customers to better understand their concerns and how Rambo Total Pest Control can best resolve their issues and fill their needs.
· Inspect the property for pest evidence and activity, as well as potential pest entry points and to identify the conducive conditions around the property that contribute to pest issues.
· Place rodent and insect control devices, seal potential pest entry points, and even replace crawlspace doors.
· Perform pesticide applications to reduce pest activity, resolve current pest infestations, and provide preventative protection of the home.
· Remove and dispose of deceased pests such as rodents and stinging insects.
· You will be working to protect families and help people suffering from infestations of pests such as ant, rodents (rats and mice), spiders, roaches, and stinging insects.
Job duties include:
· 20mins to 2hrs of total drive time each day. Your schedules are created for you with an extreme focus on minimizing drive time. We service from North Seattle/Kirkland to Tumwater and Gig Harbor to Maple Valley. The location of your home and commute time is factored into every day.
· Up to 6hrs a day performing preventative and curative services at residential locations with minimal commercial locations.
· Up to 2hrs a day inspecting homes, troubleshooting customer concerns, looking for customer upgrade opportunities, and engaging with our customers building a lasting customer relationship.
· Up to 2hrs a week attending meetings, maintaining your work truck and equipment, and restocking your needed materials for the week.
· Up to 4 to 8hrs a month attending an all hands meeting for employee recognition, employee rewards, company performance information, personal performance information, and training.
· Continuing education for the maintenance of your license and personal development is paid for and provided throughout your employment.

Our training schedule for service technicians is a two-month program, with training every day with our Lead Technicians and Training Technicians to learn about insects and rodents and effective treatment methods. During your training, you will be asked to commute to the Puyallup office every day. After training, you are provided your own work truck and fuel to fulfill your day to day responsibilities.

Job Requirements:
· Excellent customer service skills to talk with and connect with customers, in order to provide quality service.
· Strong ability to solve problems experienced by customers, by assessing pest pressures and looking for entry points and problem areas.
· Attention to detail to identify pest issues and entry points.
· Technical proficiency with handheld/smart phones, computers, etc.
· Physical ability to complete tasks associated with the job, including kneeling and crawling, ascending and descending stairs and ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to work in a variety of temperature conditions and in attics and crawl spaces.
· Valid Driver’s License (not provisional) with acceptable driving record
· Consent to a pre-employment criminal background check, assessment, and drug screening
