Additionally, Network Engineer keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices. May be certified in vendor-specific products. Responsibilities:
We seek a driven, results-oriented individual to support the network team. This individual's primary responsibilities will be supporting the building, moving to production of the ScienceLogic technology, and providing ongoing support and maintenance of the network components supported by that implementation. The primary responsibilities of this position are:
Support the building and configuration of the ScienceLogic infrastructure.
Create, test, and move to production the alerting capabilities for the supported network devices.
Monitoring and identification of network events that require mitigation.
Troubleshooting and resolution of escalated network events.
Required Skills:
6 Years of Configuring, implementing, and managing ScienceLogic and/or IT Enterprise Monitoring Systems
4 Years of Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions.
4 Years of Configuring, implementing, and managing network devices.
4 Years of Monitoring and troubleshooting complex network switches, routers, and firewalls.
4 Years of Operating, managing, and supporting routing protocols, specifically BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VXLAN.
4 Years of Operating, managing, and supporting next-generation firewalls.
4 Years of Operating, managing, and supporting wireless networks.
4 Years of Operating, managing, and supporting DNS.
4 Years of Operating, managing, and supporting software-defined networks.
4 Years of Operating, managing, and supporting network access controls.
