Network Engineering Manager manages and implements the plans, designs, and development of all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Manager conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Manager keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. May be certified or has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. About the Role
As CNC Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating engineering projects, managing a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful completion of projects. If you have a strong background in engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation, we want to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Plan, organize, and prioritize engineering projects to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative solutions and improve existing processes
- Utilize software tools such as MATLAB, SolidWorks, Python, and Schematics to design and develop engineering solutions
- Oversee the testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, assisting with problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong background in Mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in MATLAB, SolidWorks, Python, and other relevant software tools
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on attention to detail
- Knowledge of research methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively
- Strong mathematical skills for analysis and calculations
- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
