As we expand our service availability, we are looking for a Network & Engineering Intern to be a part of the ImOn Difference! 

Our Network & Engineering Intern will assist with several key projects to organize and cleanup mapping data, increase organizational efficiency, and assist with data integrity. The Network & Engineering Intern will work with the Network Operations and Engineering team to gain well-rounded exposure to corporate transformative project initiatives.

This is a paid internship.

Projects include but are not limited to:

Organizational Efficiency Project:

• Implementation of new a Mapping Management System.  
• Clean up data in the new mapping system.
• Verifying duct and fiber lines.
• After analysis, adding stretch of fiber and conduits where necessary.  
• May require some Field Survey to verify field data matches mapping system data.
• Symbology alignment  
• May require some re-keying of data into new system. 
• Experience with ArcGIS based system (i.e. CrescentLink) would be a plus, but not required.

Data Integrity Project:

• Address Analysis and Validation Project 
• Support the Address Analysis Team with Address validation and correction.
• Schedule is a flexible 40 hours/week.

Requirements

 We are looking for a student with:

• Junior or Senior student majoring in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Will consider other related majors.
• This person must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task. 
• Ability to organize data, analyze and interpret to make sound decisions. 
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively, while meeting deadlines. 
• Ability to work independently. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. 
• Schedule is flexible, 40 hours/week.
