Our client, a healthcare company, is looking to hire a Manager of Network Engineering as a full time employee. This position will be on site in Jackson, MS. The Manager is responsible for planning and leading the Network Engineering team in the research and implementation of new systems, and the performance, availability, and security of existing systems.
Top Skills:
1 Network Engineering experience 10 years
2 Prior management experience with direct reports (network teams)
3 Cisco equipment, Nexus, Fortigate

Job Scope:
-Responsible for leading technology projects that involve switches, routers, circuits, network servers.
-The Manager Network Engineering is responsible for leading the development of technical recommendations to improve the technology
environment and meet corporate strategic goals.
-Responsible for ensuring the production technology environment is available and performing as expected.
-Responsible for planning and leading efforts to improve the business recovery environment, as well as leading and participating in the semi-annual business recovery tests.
-Responsible for developing and enforcing strong discipline and installation guidelines in regards to the Data Center and switch closet racks, cabling, equipment, and power.
