The IT Delivery Manager for the Network Design Services team will:

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of associates that is tasked with designing network solutions in a large enterprise environment.
  • Routing and Switching (Physical – Cisco, as well as virtualized – VMware NSX)
  • F5 and VMware Avi Load Balancing services
  • Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM services
  • Cisco SD-WAN
  • Cisco Wireless
  • Understanding of Palo Alto Data Center Firewalls
  • Understanding of cloud networking fundamentals
• Manage a team that is focused on network design, network infrastructure automation, network capacity planning, and driving network engineering IT modernization efforts
• Manage a team that delivers technical design documentation and network engineering security plans
• Work with the other network engineering IT Delivery Managers and enterprise architects to ensure network designs are secure, scalable, and are supporting application needs
• Foster and maintain working relationships with other network engineering IT Delivery Managers, enterprise architects and network engineering senior management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 8 years of Network Engineering experience
• 5 years of experience working in large enterprise networks
• Excellent understanding of network technologies
• Experience with working multiple hardware & software vendors
• Experience with compliance and regulatory security requirements (SOX,PCI)
• Experience with personnel management
• In-depth understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Excellent understanding of network routing, LAN switching, load balancing, and WAN technologies
• Experience working in a process structured environment which includes change management, security vulnerability reviews and disaster recovery preparedness
• Solid understanding of the network components and technologies necessary to operate a highly available, highly secure, and highly regulated large-scale enterprise network

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing a network engineering team in a large enterprise
• Strong knowledge in network design concepts
• Excellent knowledge of network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Excellent knowledge in network LAN switching and WLAN technologies
• Excellent knowledge in SD-WAN technologies
• Excellent knowledge in Data Center VXLAN solutions and Spine-Leaf fabrics.

Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
