Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Operations Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     About the Role:

    The role of NOC Technician is responsible for the development and implementation of computer network systems. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network systems and making repairs or adjustments as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Configure and deploy networking equipment. Monitor and troubleshoot network equipment.
    • Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents.
    • Communicate technical concepts effectively to the business stakeholders.
    • Creation of HLD (High Level Design) and LLD (Low Level Design).
    • Build Implementation Plan and co-ordinate in raising the Change Request.
    • Coordinate deployment of network infrastructure with other members of IT organization.
    • Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement process.
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

    Key Qualifications:

    • HSD, or equivalent education, is required.
    • Proven experience as experience in network technician and/or a similar role
    • Demonstrated strong personal mastery, including ethics, interpersonal skills, and engagement in continuous learning.
    • During troubleshooting calls have good skills in questioning, listening, ideas development, permission, and rapport, and influencing.
    • Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.
    • Effective/professional communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in various routing and switching technologies and protocols.
    • CCNA/JNCIA or equivalent certification, is a plus.
    • Ability to drive resolution of problems.
    • Ability to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.
    • Knowledge of network security best practices and experience in implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
