As a Network Operations Support Specialist, you will support the Network Team ensuring all aspects of projects are completed as efficiently as possible. The main duties include reviewing budgets, project funding, procurement, reviewing inventory levels, and providing recommendations to streamline network processes.
What you’ll do:
• Work to develop an organizational budget with managers
• Review proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
• Consolidate the organizational budget for review
• Vet funding requests for merit and authenticity
• Monitor spending and keep the organization within its set budget
• Prepare reports and estimate future financial needs
• Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office
• Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
• Support the team by performing tasks related to the organization and maintaining strong communication
• Develop administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities
• Provide information by answering questions and requests
• Create, audit, modify, and manage POs for the market
• Control the flow of equipment and supplies
• Report to management and advise on process improvements
• Educate and train employees who may have less experience
• Compile inventory reports and forecast future inventory requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
• A minimum of three years of experience working in the relevant field
• Highly developed capabilities with both organization and time management
• Experience or knowledge of word processor, database, and spreadsheet software
• Ability to develop budgets and track budget expenses
• Experience managing processes and developing standards
• Experience with performance management
• Experience with Inventory Control
