Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Operations Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Position Mission:

    The Director of Operations is responsible for the continued growth of people, sales and profits within their assigned regions. The Director manages team performance by advising and assisting their management teams and demonstrating behaviors and thought processes that provide positive results for the Company. Key result areas include increased sales and profitability, increased guest satisfaction, cost control, and increased retention of managers and hourly team members. The Director works as a business coach to ensure that restaurants are operating within established standards and policies and are striving to exceed financial and operational goals.

    Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

    • Hold General Managers and District Managers accountable for development and implementation of action plans designed to achieve restaurant and Company goals for sales growth, profitability, guest loyalty and generally superior operating execution.
    • Hold restaurant General Managers and District Managers accountable to maintain established performance and ethical standards with their direct reports.
    • Ensure food quality, food handling and proper sanitation are being practiced in each restaurant. Work closely with management teams to ensure recipe adherence for all menu items.
    • Regularly review safety practices within assigned region. Work closely with District Managers to determine solutions to any identified issues or concerns. Ensure District Managers are acting promptly on any facility maintenance opportunities or other items requiring attention.
    • Use SMG to evaluate guest satisfaction and develop and implement action plans to improve areas of opportunity.
    • Ensure measurable local restaurant marketing initiatives are implemented in each location and that impact is regularly evaluated.
    • Develop, train and mentor District Managers to become more effective business leaders.
    • Participate in performance reviews for all high performing General Managers and assist in the development of action plans to address areas of opportunity.
    • Assist in the roll out of new policies and procedures to field management in a timely and effective manner and then ensure that they are embraced, implemented, and followed so that they become part of Company culture.
    • Follow-up on all guest complaints and help resolve when necessary.
    • Administer recognition, counseling and/or discipline to management teams, as necessary.
    • Inform all team members of goals or plans that directly affect them. Promote a team-based approach to improving operations and resolving issues. Encourage cooperation and open communication by consistently demonstrating such behavior.
    • Review district management personnel and succession planning with Human Resources Business Partner on a regular basis.
    • Review weekly and month-end restaurant P&L results. Develop and communicate action plans to address any areas of opportunity for exceeding sales and profit objectives.
    • Follow-up on all restaurants' Health Department and EcoSure inspections within 24 hours of said inspection. Develop plans or strategies with respective restaurants to ensure improvement where necessary.
    • Review annual restaurant-level budgets periodically to ensure Company financial objectives are on track to be met. Develop and implement plans for improvement, as necessary.
    • Ensure adherence to all standard operating and internal accounting procedures.
    • Actively promote and support safety and risk management programs within each restaurant to control costs and improve employee and guest safety.

    Required Education, Experience and Skills:

    • High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
    • Food and/or restaurant industry experience strongly preferred
    • Previous remote location management experience preferred
    • Prior experience supervising multiple units preferred
    • 5 - 10 years as a general manager, multi-unit, or district manager within the food service, hospitality, or retail industry required
    • Must be able to read, count and accurately complete documentation in English
    • Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours and weekends
    • Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
    • Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training and any local requirements such as choke saver, allergen training, county certificate, food handlers' card, etc.
    • Must be in possession of a current, valid, state issued driver's license and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
    • Monthly travel (up to 50%) to restaurants throughout the respective district with the probability of overnight trips depending on the geographic location of restaurants within the region. Occasional travel to the Corporate Office for meetings and to other locations for other various purposes, as necessary.
