Basic Function:
Administer university requirements and policies into the Graduation Planning System to ensure that students graduate in a timely manner. Reports to the University Registrar or assigned designee.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Analyze curriculum requirements; interpret and translate to scribe (code) for student audit.
Provide training for advisors and students on use of DegreeWorks.
Attend training, summits and conferences to learn about functionality enhancements to software.
Search for data patterns and apply to the overall data set.
Maintain database including equivalent and cross-listed courses, grades and programs.
Participate on committees and advisory boards to improve functionality of DegreeWorks.
Participate in creating specs for development of new tracking.
Provide reporting to Curriculum Services.
Collaborate with IT staff for identification, development and testing of software upgrades, enhancements and resolutions.
Collaborate with the Transfer Center, Registrar's Office and Athletics for verification of progress toward degree completion and updates for overall DegreeWorks success.
Consult with other DegreeWorks users concerning the online Sungard Higher Education Commons.
Provide independent decisions necessary for upgrades, enhancements, validation and overall progress of DegreeWorks.
Define, clarify and articulate problems on an electronic ticketing system by providing details and responding to requests.
Collaborate with fellow analysts and direct decisions and steps needed to resolve upgrade or enhancement technicalities.
Evaluate and revise coding performed by other analysts as needed.
Perform advanced troubleshooting by analyzing and testing elements in DegreeWorks.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience with academic programs/processes and / or curriculum processes. Must possess experience with query language.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage and multi-task complex issues and projects. Prefer previous experience with a degree audit package, presentation software, computer programming; and knowledge of computerized student information systems.

Synthesize information to make recommendations and implement solutions *

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building and off campus - including out of state - occasionally.
