The Position

We are currently seeking a Planning Specialist to join our Inventory Management team. The qualified candidate will be responsible for purchasing and managing inventory for multiple business channels to meet strategic goals and objectives. The Specialist will support the Lead Analyst and/or the Planning Supervisor.

A Sampling of What You’ll Do

• Determine how to successfully manage inventory and departmental planning parameters to develop buy plans, place orders, and evaluate inventory position
• Develop strong partnerships with vendors to meet all business needs
• Maintain purchase orders and inventory information and reports to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
• Partner with the product team on product issues, history, size assortment, placement of product, and vendor concerns

Who We’re Looking For

• High school education is required
• Inventory planning, purchasing, or related experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of spreadsheeting, and Microsoft Suite
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to prioritize work 
• Flexible and able to make decisions quickly

Where We Are

This position can only work remotely if a resident of Vermont, otherwise they will need to come into the Manchester Center offices daily.  There will be time required weekly onsite in Manchester Center, VT, so a candidate is expected to be within a drivable distance to our main offices.
