OCI's Network Planning team is hiring a manager for the Network Augment Planning team. The Network Augment Planning team takes signals from our capacity management team and plans the success of network augments. These augments include optical/dwdm, fabric augments/additions, fabric migrations, router additions supporting backbone or internet, virtual network racks, circuit adds, through all layers of the OCI network.
Planning these network augments requires working with various teams to understand the full scope, put together bills of material, acquire space and power needed, order equipment to the site, obtain additional cabling material, and hand off the project for completion into the network.
