Job Location: 200 South Orange Ave, Suite 600, Orlando, FL 32801Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Thursday 7:30am – 5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-11:30am
Duties: Provide planning, design, and graphic and technical production to both the public and private sectors. Perform a variety of tasks supporting various project managers exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Evaluate development proposals to identify compliance with local, regional and or state land use, planning and zoning regulations. Prepare planning and land use studies. Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies. Manage multiple tasks independently and simultaneously while maintaining a high level of both quality and efficiency, within the time frames set by contracted budgets, client demands and deadlines. Remote work permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Orlando Florida Office.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, City and Regional Planning, or closely related field of study and three (3) years of experience as an Urban Designer/Planner, GIS Specialist, Intern Planner/Designer, or closely related occupation. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, City and Regional Planning, or closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Urban Designer/Planner, GIS Specialist, Intern Planner/Designer, or closely related occupation.
