  • The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for a variety of aspects including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analyzing the company's revenue and expenses. We are seeking a motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can contribute to developing scalable processes that enhance reporting, financial analysis, and decision-making efficiency. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable diving into data and offering suggestions for continuous improvement. General Responsibilities • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers A day in the life: • Conducts comprehensive financial analysis by collaborating with various teams, gathering data, analyzing trends, and presenting findings • Develops and maintains financial models to support forecasting using both Percentage of Completion (POC) and Sales basis methods, including complex modeling where necessary • Creates financial summaries, KPI dashboards, and presentations for leadership that effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations • Seeks process improvement (i.e. streamlining reports) to support the company's growth trajectory #LI-KK2 #LI-Hybrid This position requires eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
