As Stemilt’s Planning Intern, you will collaborate to design and maintain Power BI reports for our Planning and Analytics department.  The Planning Intern helps collect, organize, and clean data for analysis. This position supports four thousand Stemilters and it’s required to deliver extraordinary customer service at all levels, as well as participating in crop planning meetings and activities. Detail oriented, organized, and a passion for data a must.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and maintenance of Business Intelligence reports
• Help collect, organize, and clean data for analysis
• Document department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Participate in crop planning activities and meetings
• Support the development of enterprise reporting standards 
• Identify areas where improvements can be made and find/suggest solutions 
• Create actionable and optimal communication plans for the delivery of all information related to the areas of responsibility
• Contribute to the team and the Stemilt in various other ways when requested or required

What you bring to our World Famous! Table:

Experience (a plus, but not required)

• Experience using Microsoft PowerBI
• Conducting data analysis 
• Experience in connecting to data sources, modeling data, and creating visuals 
• Experience working in the tree fruit or agricultural industry 

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Some college coursework in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related fields
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Strong problem solving, analysis and time management skills
• Works well in team environment
