Construction Project Manager

  • Description

    The Project Manager serves as project liaison and is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.  


    • Acts as point of contact for existing and new customers in the designated market
    • Responsible for all aspects of the projects including maintaining and increasing revenue objectives
    • Prepare RFB and Project Bids
    • Solicit new customers and bid opportunities within market area
    • Manage project/work order development from initiation to closure
    • Be accountable for project results
    • Work with Field Supervisors and Coordinators to manage project/work orders, scopes, goals, required resources, budget and timing
    • Complete work cost estimates and structure, work with coordinators on billing, invoicing and WIP
    • Provide customers with schedules and timelines
    • Clearly communicate expectations to team members
    • Resolve any issues and problems throughout project
    • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring completion of change orders to document and approve changes
    • Recruit and manage appropriate staffing resources and sub-contractors
    • Track, report and provide status to customers
    • Responsible for providing leadership, coaching, and motivation to all team members
    • Responsible for developing tools, procedures, and best practices for all team members
    • Responsible for evaluating and assessing results of projects and work orders

    This is a full-time position with a benefit package that includes Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and a matching 401K.


    Requirements

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in management, business, or related field preferred. A combination of experience and education will be considered.

    Experience: 2-4 years of project management in a telecommunications setting and related experience.

    Required Licenses or Certifications: Operators License, OSHA-10 preferred, PMP Certification preferred
