Network Security System Analyst, Sr. jobs in Pennsylvania
Network Security System Analyst, Sr. ensures the security of an organization's networks and systems. Performs network security assessments and risk analysis, and makes recommendations to improve network security. Being a Network Security System Analyst, Sr. investigates security incidents and breaches. Recommends and deploys appropriate security products and solutions for various network platforms. Additionally, Network Security System Analyst, Sr. configures and maintains firewalls and other network security tools and software. May conduct security trainings with employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Network Security System Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Desired Qualifications
· 8 years’ experience in network security (CCNP-Routing or CCNP Security)
· Demonstrated strong experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure
· Understanding of IEEE 802.11 protocols
· Familiarity with:
o TCP/IP (specifically Layers 3 and 4)
o Switching and routing protocols (internet standards and general architecture
o Associated hardware
· Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification: CASP CE; CCNP Security; CISA; CISSP (or Associate); GCED; GCIH; CCSP.
Desired Education
· BS/BA in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree
Security Clearance
· An active DoD Top secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
