Assistant Director of Nursing at iCare Health Netework - Meriden, CT
iCare Health Network is hiring an experianced ADNS at Silver Springs Care Center. This facility is filled with great staff and we want to add an ADNS who has experiance in a long-term care setting as a Supervisor, Unit Manager or other progressive experiance.
This position is Monday-Friday and will work along side the building Administrator and Director of Nursing, Staff Development Coordinator, Infection Prevention and other management and floor staff.
Responsibilities:
· Assists in the management of all levels of nursing staff to ensure accountability to all standards of nursing practice, quality care, and treatments.
· Takes a lead role in regular facility rounds and monitoring of resident status.
· Maintains awareness of all resident clinical care issues.
· Acts as a leader in observing and instructing clinical staff with resident care.
· Assists the Director of Nursing (DNS) in the overall training of nursing staff to support clinical services and to meet and exceed established clinical competency levels.
· Provides daily oversight of the RN Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and CNAs.
Qualifications:
· Active RN license in the State of CT, required.
· Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Improvement processes, required.
· Bachelors or Associate degree in Nursing (BSN, ADN, ADS)
· Experience in a supervisory position in long-term care, preferred.
