  • Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Technician to join our team at Firefly. The Network Technician will be responsible for providing efficient and effective support for our clients' IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Microsoft Server (2012 to 2022), Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, firewalls, access points, and switches. Previous experience working in an MSP environment is strongly preferred.

    The Network Technician is required to work on-site at our Wenatchee office. Reliable transportation is required as the technician will be traveling to client locations on a regular basis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including servers, workstations, firewalls, switches, access points, and other related network devices.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, both remotely and onsite, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance for clients.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, plan network upgrades or expansions, and implement appropriate solutions.
    • Implement and enforce security protocols and best practices to safeguard client networks from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding network-related concerns, including connectivity, performance, and user access.
    • Document network configurations, changes, and resolutions for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Technician, preferably in an MSP environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Server operating systems (2012 to 2022), Windows 10 and Windows 11.
    • Proficiency in Office 365/Google Workspace management. Familiarity with MFA configuration and email migrations strongly preferred.
    • Knowledge of firewalls, access points, switches, and other network infrastructure components.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and collaborate with team members.
    • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A and CompTIA Network .

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
