Network Service Manager manages a team of Network Service Representatives who are responsible for identifying and resolving telecommunications service or billing issues or inquiries. Develops and implements service plans to ensure customer satisfaction. Being a Network Service Manager monitors service problems and reports network failures. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Network Service Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Network Service Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Service Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. - Making material list and ordering materials
- Scheduling equipment needed for each job
- Directing technicians on complex problems encoutered in the field
- Quoting jobs for customers and making recommendations on equipment and as how the work should progress
- Pulling permits and scheduling inspections
- Completing technician evaluations
- Verifying time and paper work
