    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Service Network Representative supports the Service Network Manager. In addition to receiving and processing calls and inquiries from independent service centers, this position will help troubleshoot and assist field service technicians in our Service Network with obtaining parts, information about repairs and resolving basic technical service issues.

     

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Job Status: Full-Time

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

    Service Network Representative Salary Range: $25.90 - $31.03

    • Receives and successfully processes incoming calls and emails from the Service Network Manager, Inside Sales Representatives, as well as current and prospective (Service Network) customers.
    • Responds promptly to all correspondence with a positive attitude and a professional manner.
    • Obtains and maintains a high level of knowledge regarding Taylor product, policies, and procedures.
    • Inspects and plays guitars fully to determine the work that needs to be performed.
    • Knows how to properly disassemble and assemble a Taylor guitar.
    • Knows how to make Taylor guitar nuts, saddles, and new bridges.
    • Performs inspection at all stages of the repair process, including final inspection of repairs once completed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    Education & Experience: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required and at least five years of directly related experience and/or training on Taylor guitars; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the musical instrument industry. Experience in repairing and working on Taylor Guitars.

    Computer Skills: Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
