As a Catering Director, you will lead a team in executing flawless catering events, utilizing your core skills in staff training, management, and food service management. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the planning and execution of catered events
• Promote and coordinate events with client representatives
• Schedule employees to ensure appropriate coverage and service for events
• Oversee ordering, receiving and billing functions
• Provide follow up after catered events
• Monitor the catering group's job performance
• Manage the budget through effective food, labor and supply controls
• Monitor care and operation of delivery vehicles
• REQUIREMENTS:
• 5 years of operational management experience in the catering field
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and decision making ability
• Culinary experience preferred
• Ability to lead, train and coordinate the catering team
• Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule
• Hands on approach to training and development of the service team
• Operational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and catering billing systems
• ServSafe Certification preferred
