An Award winning Central California Medical Center is actively seeking a Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join their outpatient Clinic.
The Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner will manage an expanding Neurology program and will play a key role in developing and implementing the program. The Nurse Practitioner Pediatric Clinic will work with a growing team of nursing professionals overseeing a variety of patients and facilities. The Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner will report to the Nurse Director of Neurology, while also collaborating with a team Nurse Practitioners.
The department is searching for Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in Neurological Services. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will work with a dynamic team managing a variety of Neurological conditions, including those with epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Neurofibromatosis, Spasticity and Craniosynostosis.
The Nurse Practitioner Pediatrics will evaluate the physical and psychological state of the Neuro patients, and will provide support to patients by participating in-patient and family teaching counseling and support. The Nurse Practitioner will coordinate the care of Pediatric Neuro surgery pre and post-op. Additionally, the Physician Assistant work with patients and families about education.
