Being a New Accounts Representative provides information and answers questions regarding interest rates, fees, and bank policies. May complete process to transfer accounts for customers. Additionally, New Accounts Representative makes appropriate referrals to cross-sell a variety of bank services. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A New Accounts Call Center Associate processes all new credit applications in a timely manner and monitors charge activity of existing accounts. Primary job responsibilities of a New Accounts Associate include the following:
-Answers inbound calls regarding customer's account and billing questions, and makes immediate changes to the customer's account.
-Monitors new instant applications that are opened on a daily basis using on-line credit reports and specific criteria; completes within the time limits specified by current standards.
-Maintains existing Von Maur accounts by monitoring daily charging activity using on-line system criteria.
-Processes all credit applications by reviewing the information from the application and current credit files using specific criteria. Uses good judgment in all circumstances.
-Inputs data from tri-fold applications into the computer or terminal, in order to request credit files.
-Candidates should have typing experience.
-Must be able to work a schedule that consists of day, night and weekend shifts. In office position. Remote work is not available.
