    The Assistant Category Manager role will assist the lead Category Manager with delivering key Merchandising principles and implementing the strategic assortment plans for their category ownership.
    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Assist Category Manager with all day-to-day category tasks and milestones.
    • Support execution of key category deliverables - including marketing planning, promotional planning, and quarterly line reviews.
    • Manage assortment strategy and attribution to drive thoughtful curation, innovation, and product strategies.
    • Conduct, synthesize and present analysis on financial performance, competitive landscape, and market trends.
    • Responsible for customer experience & site execution including pricing, visual merchandising, and images & copy on product pages.
    • Support in preparation, setup, note-taking, and execution for Merchandising milestone meetings.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Pricing, Analytics, Purchasing and Planning
    • Build relationships with key vendor & supplier partners to drive marketing opportunities.

    COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
    • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
    • Proactive, solution-oriented self-starter who can take direction, but is comfortable asking questions.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Excellent team player who is able to thrive in a highly cross-functional environment.
    • Comfort in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, Word is a plus.
    • Passion for product and the vitamins industry, and a desire to learn & grow within Merchandising, E-Commerce and/or Marketing preferred.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    • 1-3 years of experience in Merchandising, Category Management, E-Commerce, Marketing, or related field.
    • Experience in vitamins & supplements industry and / or digital e-commerce is a plus.
    • Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
