    The Packaging Project Manager uses professional experience, concepts and company objectives to capture, document, and outlay as it relates to the product with a responsibility for the management and delivery of the packaging. Requiring a low level of supervisory oversight, this role's responsibilities will encompass but not limited to, management of packaging activities and resources, development of schedules, cross-functional collaboration and communication of packaging lifecycle.     Responsibilities

    • Develops project structure including:
      • Works with Packaging Managers to plan resources needed for the project and manage them in an effective manner throughout the project
      • Use project management software working with cross-functional teams to actively plan and track project timelines and milestones
      • Develop and maintain repository for project information
      • Identify risks, recommends alternatives, and develops mitigation plans
    • Manages Attention to results:
      • Proactively identify and manage changes in project scope, project dependencies, potential crises and devise contingency plans
      • Support Graphic Artist in asset collection and facilitate internal approvals from cross-functional team members
      • Internal point of contact with outsourced graphic developed projects, key stakeholders and cross-functional team members
      • Provide project updates and adjustments to project stakeholders on a timely and consistent basis
      • Actively manage Schedule/Quality and project scope to original objectives, using standard PLC process tools
      • Facilitate project team meetings, document action items, decisions, and follow up to achieve project completion
      • As the primary project escalation point, quickly analyze/remove roadblocks and resolve cross-functional issues
    • Draws valuable insight and meaning after the project has completed
      • Identify areas of opportunities and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
      • Emphasize project successes with the Team and Leadership
      • Identify improvements to cycle time and quality for future programs
    • Participate in defining and refining Program Management process improvements across all business units
    • Seeks opportunities to increase project management skills and abilities through continuing education as well as professional (business/strategic/leadership) development
    • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
    • Minimum of four years of project management experience required.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification desired.
    • Experience in consumer packaging preferred.

    USD $76,000.00/Yr.
