Function: 

Manage list of existing advertising accounts while developing new advertising accounts by presenting Adams Publishing Group (APG) products. Consultants are also responsible for exceeding monthly revenue goals given by Ad Director and representing all products of The Carroll News and thecarrollnews.com.

Major Responsibilities:  

• Meet assigned revenue goals
• Provide excellent customer service to all advertising accounts in an effort to help the customer grow their business.
• Grow base of monthly active advertising accounts.
• Gain knowledge of digital marketing products and apply knowledge to marketing proposals.
• Utilize sales tools and marketing materials to create and present proposals.
• Process insertion orders and advertising production materials before deadline.
• Represent Adams Publishing, LLC, the Publisher and the Advertising Director, their strategies and goals professionally and ethically.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:                       College education preferred but not a must    

Experience:                     Outside sales and/or media sales

Competencies/Skills:      Ability to communicate ideas to both the advertiser and Creative Services department. Strong account management skills from ideas, to sales, to financial management of accounts. Strong organizational, time-management and presentation skills. Previous sales/advertising experience helpful.

Physical Activities Involved: Frequent driving, walking, sitting at desk working on the computer. Occasional light lifting.

Environmental Factors Involved: Continuous Multi tasking. Frequently work with confidential material. Rarely work an irregular schedule.
