About the job

You will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, and delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage inventory
• Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe
• Manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, set work schedules, and provide ongoing employee training and development
• Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes
• Maintain high safety standards, conduct audits, and enforce safety policies
• Ensure adherence to all plant and safety, food safety, GMP and sanitation regulations
• Develop and implement best practices
• Promote and demonstrate continuous improvement within the facility
• Develop and maintain departmental budget
• Ensure proper full goods and raw materials rotation
• Maintain warehouse equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 to 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience
• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience
• 1 to 3 years of inventory management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Inventory management system software experience preferred
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed
