Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This is an important role that requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging procedures
- Operate imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their well-being
- Capture high-quality images of the targeted area using specialized imaging techniques
- Analyze images and provide accurate interpretations to physicians for diagnosis
- Maintain patient records and document all procedures performed
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Skills:
- Proficiency in performing ER (Emergency Room) nuclear medicine procedures
- Experience with PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scans
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to nuclear medicine procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for handling radioactive materials
- Understanding of mammography and sonography procedures
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using nuclear medicine techniques
- Competence in X-ray imaging techniques
